For starters . . .
We are concerned about the lack of respect for mothering in our society, especially when it claims to revere motherhood so deeply.
We are concerned about the free pass that male chauvinistic marriage counselors and dating “experts” get from the media and even many activist groups.
We are concerned about feminist bashing, both blatant and silent.
We are concerned about the media’s neglect of feminist holidays like Women’s Equality Day, International Women’s Day and Seneca Falls Day.
We are concerned about the never-ending “male is the gold standard” mentality at work, in religion, the arts, the sciences, the media and in all political groups.
We are concerned about how the culture has stolen our time – time that could be spent doing activity and winning at work and at home.
We are concerned about the persistent global epidemic of violence against women.
We are concerned, we are agitated, we are angry.
We have Feminist Fever.
Like most women today, we have busy, multifaceted lives. We juggle work, chores, errands, marriage, children, relatives . . .
But in spite of that – and because of that, we are making time to write this blog. It will evolve as we get more experience, but one thing for certain . . .
We will not back down from Feminist Fever.
